Our Story
Motivated by God’s grace, Battle Creek Area Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build or rehab decent homes for and with families in need. We envision a community where everyone has a decent place to live.

Homeownership
At Battle Creek Area Habitat for Humanity we believe it is a basic human right that everyone has access to safe, stable, and affordable housing. We want to help you build a better life for you and your family that will last generations. Side by side we will help you build a new home and help you learn the skills to become a successful homeowner. Becoming a homeowner is hard work but with some help from volunteers and donors, we can build a stronger future together. If you are interested, click the link below.
Ramp Program
We construct and install accessibility ramps for our community members in need- providing them with independence. For more information about ramps, click here.

Volunteers
As part of our commitment to building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter, volunteering goes beyond construction. It fosters a deeper connection to the mission, encouraging community members to invest their time, skills, and energy into transforming lives. Additionally, volunteering builds teamwork, empathy, and a lasting sense of accomplishment. If you are interested click here
Restore
The ReStore at Battle Creek Area Habitat for Humanity plays a vital role in supporting our mission to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. By offering gently used furniture, appliances, and building materials at affordable prices, the ReStore generates revenue that directly funds our housing programs. If you are interested click here
