Motivated by God’s grace, Battle Creek Area Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build or rehab decent homes for and with families in need. We envision a community where everyone has a decent place to live.

Homeownership

At Battle Creek Area Habitat for Humanity we believe it is a basic human right that everyone has access to safe, stable, and affordable housing. We want to help you build a better life for you and your family that will last generations. Side by side we will help you build a new home and help you learn the skills to become a successful homeowner. Becoming a homeowner is hard work but with some help from volunteers and donors, we can build a stronger future together. If you are interested, you can find the application here.

We construct and install accessibility ramps for our community members in need- providing them with independence. For more information about ramps, click here.

As part of our commitment to building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter, volunteering goes beyond construction. It fosters a deeper connection to the mission, encouraging community members to invest their time, skills, and energy into transforming lives. The ReStore at Battle Creek Area Habitat for Humanity plays a vital role in supporting our mission to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.
